Status Update-

I hate you all cuz you're graduating and I have something like 30 credits.

I'm just doing school part-time. I made the mistake of getting wrapped up into a career before finishing school so now I'm kind of stuck.

Believe me, I know how you feel. I talked to my therapist about that a lot before I stopped seeing her. I always have to remind myself that what's right or what works for one person may not be right for everyone. And everyone has their own time-table. I wish I didn't have to work full time, I wish I could just go to school, but it doesn't always work that way. That doesn't mean you'll never get to go. My sister just turned 31, and will graduate in maybe 2 years. She seems to be happy with the way her life has gone so far.

When I was interviewing for this job, one of the women asked if I was going to school, and what I was studying. I told her I had gone to school for a couple semesters, and had declared myself as pre-med, but I wasn't sure if I would continue along that path once I go back. She laughed, and said that it's better to take your time and figure out what will make you happy than to jump into school, spending time and money, and later realize that what you majored in is the LAST thing you want to spend your life doing. You know you've heard stories of people who went to school for one thing, and ended up doing something completely different.

Anyway, all rambling aside, my point is that it doesn't matter. As long as you're happy and healthy, it just doesn't matter.
